Every year, all the golf clubs manufacturing companies will introduce some new types of clubs which may be evolved from previous types and which of them are totally new design. The Fast 10 drivers and fairway woods join Adams Golf’s Speedline series as the third-generation models in Adams’ line dedicated to increasing swing speed through aerodynamic modifications in clubhead design.
Modifications to the clubheads in the Fast 10 drivers and fairways include a more rounded toe and less rounded heel, which airflow testing, Adams Golf says, shows less drag and greater airflow stability through the swing. The results with the new woods, Adams says, is more carry and more distance, along with 10-percent higher MOI compared to previous models.
The Speedline Fast 10 driver and Speedline Fast 10 fairway woods come in standard and draw versions, as well as women’s models. The fairways have 57-percent more sole camber compared to previous models, intended to increase playability from a variety of lies.
The men’s models are available with a mid-high launch Aldila Wasabi shaft or a mid-low launch Matrix HD shaft. The women’s models come standard with a lightweight Graffaloy shaft. The standard men’s driver comes in lofts of 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 and 12.5 degrees for right-handers, and 9.5 and 10.5 for lefties. The draw model of the driver offers lofts of 9.5 and 10.5 (RH only), and women’s model 12.5 (RH only). The standard fairway woods come in 3+, 3- and 5-woods, RH and LH; the draw version, 3 and 5 (RH only) and the women’s version 3, 5 and 7 (RH only).
